Recently, Jiinkinkids has taken on a new family member. A dear friend and incredibly talented lady, Shani Fridrich. Shani is the mother to the adorable little girl in the picture above & below! Meet Hannah! (Isn’t she darling) Hannah joined her forever family in the Spring of 2006 and is a constant reminder and inspiration to me that one day my daughter will be with my husband and I!
Many months ago, the idea of creating dolls for the shop started getting tossed around. We created the patterns from scratch and within a few months these little sweethearts began popping out one after another! We both have looked high and low for Asian looking dolls that are actually cute, soft and well… not weird looking. After much disappointment, we decided to just dive in head first and create a doll that our daughters can proudly identify with and love as a playmate!
On a side note, after we made the first trial doll, Hannah held the doll up in the mirror and looked at it and then at herself and said “Hannah” pointing to the doll. It was so sweet!
Each doll is 100% handmade. There is no mass production, no large quantities at one time. We will continue to put dolls up for sale as they are created. Each doll comes with a matching, hand embroidered quilt, adoption papers and a special blessing. The doll and blanket take 24 hours to complete and much TLC is put into each one. There are NO TWO ALIKE!
+We recommend these dolls for age 3 and up. As a parent, use your discretion to decide if your child is ready for this kind of doll.
+We do not attach any items on the dolls that could be a choking hazard.
+To clean: Spot clean the dolls.
+To clean the blanket, machine wash cold on gentle – air dry.
